SKATEBOARD PRODUCTS BY SKATEBOARDERS FOR SKATEBOARDERS!

National Phoenix Amateur Skateboard Competion

We have entered 3 of our 5 Team Riders in the National Phoenix Amateur Skateboard Competion, facilitated by Cowtown Skateboards, the most respected core skateshop chain in Arizona! Teamriders Nathaniel Watson, Tony Steele and Trevor Scott will compete with the nation’s top sponsored amateur skateboarders, over 250 riders with national skate company sponsors from the skateboard industry. 4wheelwarpony is the only Native American Skateboard Company that participates at this level.
Nathaniel Watson
Nathaniel Watson is 23 and Navajo from Gallup New Mexico. He has been on our team since 2010.
Tony Steele

Tony Steele is 17 and San Carlos Apache from Cutter Arizona, also on the team since 2010. We started flowing him through our wheel team at the time 2009, then eventually moved him up to team rider status the following year.

Trevor Scott
Trevor Scott is 18 and Navajo from Tuba City Arizona and has been on our team since 2010. After seeing him skate at the Tuba City Park, and then at the 2010 Get Down at K-Town Skate Comp we facilitated in Kayenta Arizona we asked him to be a team rider.
Cecely Todacheene
Cecely Todacheene is 23 and Navajo from Smith Lake New Mexico. She was added to our team roster last year 2014. We’ve known her for years and watched her progress and grow as a skateboarder to the point that we decided to add her to our core Team.
Anfernee Whitehorse
Anfernee Whitehorse is 18 and Navajo from Chinle Arizona, and has spent his teen years as a Tempe local. He has impressed us for years and he got to a point that we felt he would be a great addition to round out our team.
These 5 are the heart and soul of 4wheelwarpony and their talents and ablilites on the skateboard legitimize what we think is our eye for talent. However skateboarding is not the only reason they are on our team, these young people are resiliant persistant and positive young adults who have all been willing to give of themselves in many ways inside and outside of skateboarding. They come from Native American communities and cultures older than America and are a direct continuation of the strengths that made their ancestors such formidable foes to violent American conquest.
